As’ad al-Hamad dermatology centre currently provides laser therapy under three broad categories:

1. Pigment laser.
2. Vascular laser.
3. Resurfacing laser.

Pigment laser :

We have 4 Q-switched laser with the wave length of Nd YAG 532 &1063, Ruby and Alex mainly for treatment of lentigens, freckles and some pigmented naevi(ie.nevus of Ota and Ito) and other indications

One Excimer laser mainly for treatment of localized vitiligo and psoriasis( We also have 4 UVB lamps for the same indications)

Vascular laser

PDL laser, Diode, Nd-YAG and yellow laser for reatment of vascular lesions including port wine stains, telengectasia,rosacea and other indications(i.e keloid)

Resurfacing laser : Fractional Co2 laser for treatment of many indications including acne scarring and epidermal lesions

The patients need to be referred from the outpatient department and then, he will have detailed consultation about the treatment, the outcome, side effects, and asked to sign a consent.
